On 28th & 29th September 2019, Rhombus Construction, the authorized dealer for SANY Heavy Plant & Equipment in East Africa sponsored the 2019 Jude Njomo Golf Tournament at the Kiambu Golf Club. The event organized by Kiambu Central Member of Parliament Hon. Jude Njomo sought to support ongoing education reforms in Kiambu Constituency.

The golf tournament attracted over 50 participants, with many more donating golf clubs to support the local MPs drive to introduce golf as a sport in the public primary schools in the constituency.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Njomo cited the need to support education to improve the prospects of youth in the constituency. This he noted will broaden their outlook and enhance their capacity to become successful citizens.

While giving the closing remarks, Head of Sales & Marketing at Rhombus Construction, Victor M. Marangu lauded Hon. Njomo’s commitment to the residents of Kiambu Central constituency.

“It takes a visionary to tap into the youth for a better future. Hon. Njomo has shown us that through investing in our children’s education, we get a better tomorrow, with learned, upright citizens taking up from us” he noted.

He also added that Rhombus, despite being key players in providing machinery used in road and building construction in Kenya, values the role education plays in cementing the future for our youth.
